Project Manager – Internal Projects

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 + bonus. Location: Swindon / London / Hybrid.

Overview

Edenred PayTech seeks a Project Manager to lead critical projects across Finance, Compliance, Legal, and Product.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of new requirements across technical, legal, compliance, risk, and financial domains.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor project activities, including resource management and budgeting.
  • Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks with clear controls, documentation, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Proactively identify, resolve risks, issues, and blockers to keep projects on track.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams and collaborate with internal departments and external partners.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels, managing expectations and resolving conflict as needed.
  • Produce timely, accurate project status updates and governance deliverables.
  • Manage scope changes and change requests effectively, minimizing disruption.
  • Drive continuous improvement, share best practices, and refine project methodologies.
  • Mentor junior PMs and influence project standards, templates, and tools.
  • Champion the evolution of Edenred’s project management methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Proven success managing full‑lifecycle projects with strong project management expertise.
  • Experience with Agile and hybrid methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to distill complex issues and communicate clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Self‑motivated and able to thrive independently in a fast‑paced, technical environment.
  • Effective multitasker balancing multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence teams toward successful delivery.
  • Positive, resilient, and solutions‑focused mindset, adaptable to change.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with payment products or financial services.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, Prince2, PROSCI, or MoR.
  • Proficiency with JIRA and other project management tools.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching project managers or team members.
