As Junior HR Business Partner, you will provide operational and strategic HR support across a range of people matters, partnering with managers to deliver people‑focused solutions that support engagement, performance, and business success.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with managers across the business to provide day‑to‑day HR guidance and support.
  • Advise on employee relations matters including absence, performance, disciplinaries, grievances, and capability.
  • Support organisational change activity, restructures and workforce planning where required.
  • Work with managers to support talent development, succession planning and employee engagement.
  • Contribute to the delivery of HR initiatives, policies and projects aligned to business goals.
  • Use HR data and insights to identify trends and support decision‑making.
  • Support the annual HR cycle, including performance reviews, salary reviews and people planning.
  • Promote best practice and ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across both Swindon and London offices.

About you / Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor, Junior HRBP or similar generalist HR role.
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience managing employee relations cases with confidence and professionalism.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to influence and challenge constructively.
  • Proactive, organised and solutions‑focused approach.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced commercial environment.
  • CIPD qualification or working towards it would be advantageous.
