Objective of the Function/role
You will be supporting the company's compliance with GDPR, global privacy laws, and the emerging EU AI Act. This role contributes to Edenred's commitment to responsible data use, by helping ensure privacy‐by‐design, effective governance, and alignment with the organisation's regulatory road‐map.

Key Responsibilities
- Support privacy risk management activities including DPIAs and other assessments and policies, contributing to informed and compliant decision‐making.
- Handle data subject rights requests end‐to‐end, ensuring timely, accurate, and rights‐respecting responses.
- Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of privacy and AI‐related policies and procedures.
- Assist with maintaining records of processing activities and supporting governance frameworks.
- Help monitor regulatory developments (GDPR, e‐privacy, AI Act) and translate them into actionable internal guidance.
- Provide support to colleagues across the business on privacy and AI compliance queries.
- Collaborate with DPO offices (DPO, Group DPO, PPS EU DPO) to ensure consistency in compliance approaches.
- Support privacy awareness initiatives and training activities across the organization.
Professional Experience & Qualifications
- Law degree from a UK or European institution.
- Qualified in new technology law and/or certification (CIPP or equivalent) in personal data protection and AI governance/compliance.
- Extensive experience in a position highly exposed to personal data protection issues in a law firm, an international company, or a Data Protection Authority.
- In‐depth knowledge of regulations relating to Personal Data and Artificial Intelligence (in particular the GDPR, and the EU AI Act), with proven ability to apply them in operational contexts.
- Experience of working in a software product development company.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‐solving skills.
- Demonstrated integrity, collaboration, and commitment to responsible data handling.
Desirable Experience
- Experience in the field of payments or in a regulatory environment.
- Fluency in French (advanced preferred).
- Familiarity with AI governance frameworks or emerging AI legislation.
