As a Product Designer, you will craft innovative, market driven product designs for a specific vertical that promotes standardisation, maximises value and unified strategies across multiple roadmaps.

You will play a key role in shaping seamless user experiences that align with business goals and drive product consistency and impact.

What you will be doing

  • Design and deliver innovative product solutions aligned to business and market needs.
  • Translate business goals into functional product designs and capabilities.
  • Embed compliance, security, scalability, and availability into product designs.
  • Maintain design standards, style guides, and component libraries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Create user journeys, process flows, capability maps, and personas.
  • Prioritise design activities based on impact, feasibility, and strategy.
  • Refine designs using stakeholder feedback and data insights.
  • Promote design best practices and ensure consistency across products.
  • Ensure designs align with architectural principles and technology standards.
  • Stay informed on fintech trends, emerging technologies, and market developments.
  • Facilitate workshops, design sprints, and stakeholder reviews.

What you will bring

Essential

  • Experienced Product Designer or similar role, with a proven track record of delivering technical solutions to market.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
  • Strong communicator, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from executives to engineering teams.
  • Skilled in setting, tracking, and delivering against key OKRs and KPIs.
  • Able to communicate effectively with technical stakeholders and confidently challenge where necessary, ensuring a pragmatic balance between business value and technical best practices.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and challenges effectively.
  • Able to analyse operational data to gain insights to evidence the approach.

Desirable

  • Experience working with API integrations and microservices within cloud-based environments.
  • Knowledge of the payments industry, including payment processing, regulations, and emerging technologies.
