EdenLab's mission: 'Redesigning Growth For A Radically Different Future'. The clean economy is growing at 10x the legacy economy. Climate change is reshaping supply chains, consumer expectations, and competitive dynamics. The leadership teams we exist to support face three critical challenges:
- Growth stalling from customer fragmentation and climate/tech disruption
- Brittle business models squeezed by volatile inputs and unpredictable politics
- Capability gaps where organizational change can't keep pace with external disruption
Most traditional fixes are superficial; efficiency programs, compliance investments, sustainability initiatives that help short-term but don't solve underlying problems. We've identified a white space: commercial-first transformation strategy.
Upstream of agencies and sustainability consultancies (who often implement our work). Commercial-oriented, not compliance-focused: we show clients the ££. Operating with blue-chip and challenger brands at commercial tipping points across our four core sectors: Energy, Food systems, Mobility, and Tech.
This is a rare opportunity to architect the commercial engine for a consultancy solving one of the defining business challenges of our generation: how companies make money from the sustainability transition. You'll report directly to the CEO, Leo, with genuine ownership over how EdenLab grows; shaping market positioning, building pipeline, and converting interest into lasting relationships with clients navigating the biggest business, social, economic, political and cultural transformation in history.
The Mission: Your Role in Our Expansion
- Pipeline Development: Build and manage qualified opportunities across our four core sectors through direct outreach, partner introductions, and strategic relationship building. Convert interest into proposals.
- Client Acquisition: Lead new business conversations with senior executives (CEO/MD level). Scope engagements, craft compelling proposals, and close deals targeting £100k-£300k+ mandates.
- Market Positioning & Thought Leadership: Lead the evolution of articulating our value proposition, positioning EdenLab as the go-to partner for commercial-first sustainability strategy.
- Account Expansion: Work with delivery teams to identify opportunities within existing clients. Turn one-off projects into ongoing relationships.
- Network Building: Become a visible presence in the transformation and clean economy space. Leverage events, partnerships, and strategic relationships to generate inbound interest.
- Commercial Infrastructure: Establish CRM systems, pipeline management practices, and forecasting capabilities. Create repeatable methodologies for qualification, scoping, and proposal development.
