We are currently partnering with a market-leading Insurance Broker to recruit a Workday Finance Systems Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert Workday Financials support through business analysis, system configuration, master data management and the delivery of process improvements/system changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Finance teams to support Workday Financials including FP&A reporting, Expenses, Procurement and Projects.
- Provide consultation to Financials Centres of Excellence by gathering requirements and delivering solutions with impact analysis.
- Act as a subject matter expert on current and future Workday capabilities.
- Maintain and manage master data within Workday across relevant functional areas.
- Configure, test, validate and implement Workday business process changes.
- Support testing activities for integrations, security and recurring system events.
- Act as an escalation point for Tier 2 and Tier 3 support issues.
- Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to strengthen process and policy knowledge.
- Design, maintain and optimise system configurations including cost centres and consolidations.
- Deliver high quality work while maintaining accuracy under pressure and changing priorities.
- Plan, prioritise and manage workloads effectively while meeting agreed deadlines.
- Identify process improvements and support innovation to enhance team efficiency and system effectiveness.
- Analyze complex issues, make informed recommendations and provide problem solving support across the team.
Skills & Experience
- Workday Finance experience or training preferred.
- Understanding of Workday as a product and how this is used within business.
- Background in Finance data management and reporting.
