As a Senior Manager, you will lead large-scale finance transformation programmes while providing expert technical accounting advice to clients across the UK Insurance market.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Lead finance transformation and accounting advisory engagements for insurance sector clients.• Support insurers and retirement providers through major accounting and reporting changes.• Advise clients on IFRS 17 implementation and ongoing post-implementation developments.• Drive finance transformation initiatives to improve finance operating models and processes.• Lead regulatory reporting modernisation programmes across the life insurance market.• Manage large-scale finance transformation programmes from planning through execution.• Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring outputs are high quality, timely, and commercially focused.• Provide expert technical accounting and financial reporting advice on complex insurance-related matters.• Collaborate with finance, actuarial, data, and technology specialists to deliver integrated solutions.• Build trusted client relationships while helping organisations navigate evolving accounting, reporting, and regulatory requirements.The ideal candidate:• Current working for a Consultancy within the Insurance practice. xsabvtc • Delivered finance transformation or accounting advisory projects within insurance.• You have a strong understanding of insurance accounting frameworks, including IFRS 17• Prepared or reviewed technical accounting papers and accounting policy documentation• Manager complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and workstreamsDiscipline(s): Change ManagementJob type: Permanent
