We are currently partnering with a market-leading Insurance company, to recruit a Senior Finance Transformation Manager. The successful candidate will be leading a finance transformation, driving the evolution of the accounting function and BPO model while acting as the key finance link to the wider programme. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Act as the Accounting point of contact, owning the business case and tracking progress against key benefits and milestones. Lead the change portfolio across all accounting areas, including AI-related initiatives, prioritising projects and resolving dependencies. Design and implement the target operating model for accounting, working closely with HR and external service partners. Drive change management across the accounting function, ensuring people, processes and ways of working are ready for new models. Collaborate with other business units to share best practice and bring innovative approaches into the UK programme. Establish effective governance for the offshore accounting model, overseeing service delivery against agreed SLAs and quality standards. Manage Accounting costs, monitoring budgets, volumes and productivity while taking corrective action where required. Apply expert knowledge of end-to-end finance and business processes to ensure effective solutions are delivered. Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring regular communication and meaningful input into key decisions. Identify and proactively manage risks, issues and barriers, ensuring appropriate actions are implemented. Provide senior leadership with clear insights, recommendations and updates on transformation progress and performance. Act as a key bridge between Finance, operational teams and external partners to drive successful delivery of the transformation agenda. The ideal candidate: Qualified accountant with a solid background working on finance transformation programmes. Excellent understanding of finance processes and systems with ability to manage individuals directly and through others. Solid stakeholder management skills with the ability to built relationships at all levels.
