Exciting opportunity for a Senior Risk Manager at a Leading Lloyd's Insurer. Please note London Insurance Market experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Risk Management Framework & Monitoring
    • Assess and monitor the risk and control environment.
    • Monitor exposures against risk appetite and established limits.
    • Lead second-line risk assessments, both qualitative and quantitative.
    • Track incidents and control issues, performing root cause analysis where appropriate.
    • Support the development of operational risk scenarios and stress testing.
  • Risk Reporting & Governance
    • Develop and maintain risk registers, dashboards and key risk indicators using data analytics.
    • Support regulatory, audit and governance requirements, including risk reporting.
  • Business Partnership
    • Provide risk advice to business teams on risk identification, mitigation and control effectiveness.
    • Challenge first-line risk assessments and help promote a strong risk culture across the organisation.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a risk management role within the Property & Casualty (re)insurance sector, ideally with exposure to both Company and Lloyd's markets.
  • Strong knowledge of UK risk management and regulatory requirements, including operational risk management, governance and ORSA.
  • Experience producing risk reporting for senior management and governance committees.
  • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
