Job Description
New opportunity for a Senior Risk Analyst for a Leading Specialty Insurer within the Lloyd's Insurance Market.
- Support the ongoing development, maintenance and enhancement of entity-level risk registers in line with Lloyd’s and regulatory expectations.
- Assist in the periodic review and refinement of risk management policies to ensure continued appropriateness and effectiveness.
- Partner with Business Risk Partners to support quarterly risk and control assessments, KRI reporting and other core risk management activities.
- Contribute to risk reviews by preparing high-quality draft analysis and supporting documentation for stakeholder engagement.
- Support delivery of the ORSA in accordance with the ORSA Policy, including coordination of inputs, analysis and preparation of ORSA documentation and reports.
- Assist in the investigation, remediation and monitoring of risk events, control weaknesses and failures, including root cause analysis, loss quantification and lessons learned.
- Perform quarterly control validation activities with stakeholders, reviewing supporting evidence and recommending enhancements to control design and wording where appropriate.
- Support the emerging risk framework through horizon scanning activities, engagement with underwriters and key stakeholders, and review of quarterly ORIC submissions to identify new and developing risks.
- Assist in the preparation of clear, high-quality risk and control reporting for internal and external audiences, including Committees and the Board.
- Deliver risk management training and provide ongoing advisory support to stakeholders across the business.
- Play a leading role in the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Risk Function’s GRC system (Decision Focus), including user training and supporting the evolution of AI-enabled functionality.
