- Manage the end-to-end processing and administration of reinsurance business, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Process and review reinsurance premiums, technical accounts, settlements and associated documentation.
- Handle complex technical queries, investigate discrepancies and resolve outstanding items.
- Ensure reinsurance records and systems are maintained accurately and in line with internal procedures and market requirements.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Underwriting, Claims, Finance and Operations, to resolve issues and support the smooth running of the business.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with external brokers, clients and market counterparties where required.
- Monitor outstanding transactions and follow up on overdue items to ensure timely resolution.
- Support the implementation of operational controls and ensure compliance with relevant processes and procedures.
- Provide guidance, training and technical support to junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practice.
