Senior Manager, Finance Transformation – Business Consulting

We are collaborating with a leading Big 4 consultancy firm to recruit a Senior Manager, Finance Transformation, within the Business Consulting team. The successful candidate will lead complex Finance Transformations, focusing on business architecture, processes, and change management. Additionally, will manage teams, oversee large workstreams, and ensure successful delivery from design to Go Live.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead large, complex end-to-end Finance Transformations in Banking, Capital Markets, or Insurance sectors.
• Run requirements gathering, assess As Is organisation structure, processes, controls, and operating models.
• Design and implement accelerated Working Day Close and Working Day Timetable.
• Lead design workshops, translate client requirements into leading practice processes and business designs.
• Manage Business Readiness and Change Management to support Go Live and Business as Usual (BAU).
• Oversee large workstreams or smaller engagements, managing delivery teams and guiding junior members.
• Foster a culture of innovation, implementing new working methods, delivery models, or technological advancements.
• Drive business development, including leading proposals, bid teams, and delivering high-quality proposals.

The ideal candidate requirements:

• Extensive hands-on consulting experience within Big 4, or a top-tier consultancy within the financial services sector (Banking, Capital Markets, or Insurance).
• Business Architect / Lead on Finance Transformations delivering “business focussed” aspects of a clients Target Operating Model – Organisation Design (People), Process & Controls, Working Day Timetable, Change Management, Training and Business Readiness.
• An understanding of how Finance Technology is used to solve our client’s business problems, work with our technology partners to support the design and implementation of various technology solutions (low code through to ERP/EPM capability) as the business design lead.
