We are currently partnering with a Market Leading Speciality Insurance company to recruit a Senior Business Analyst. The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in the delivery of business analysis artefacts and the provision of business analysis services for the business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Translate business problems and requirements into structured documentation for development teams or third parties.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure accurate capture and execution of requirements.
  • Evaluate and challenge proposed solutions to ensure strategic fit and business value.
  • Break down complex concepts for senior stakeholders and support informed decision-making.
  • Apply appropriate tools and methodologies to document, analyse, and maintain traceability of business requirements.
  • Identify and resolve inefficiencies in business processes and IT systems, including ‘business as usual’ operations.
  • Coordinate user involvement throughout the change cycle, including analysis, testing, and post-implementation support.
  • Ensure smooth transition of change initiatives into live environments, including training, documentation, and ongoing support.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A strong understanding of Insurance products.
  • Prior experience working on digitisation or automation projects, ideally within the insurance industry, focusing on process improvement and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in gathering business requirements from underwriters, actuaries, finance, and other stakeholders, translating them into clear technical specifications.
