Edenbrook are partnering with a Global Specialty Insurer on an Operational Resilience & TRPM specialist hire.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, and Third-Party Risk Management activities, ensuring alignment with FCA, PRA, Lloyd's, and internal governance frameworks.
- Manage incident reporting, root cause analysis, lessons learned, remediation plans, and regulatory reporting, while tracking actions, vulnerabilities, and governance updates.
- Conduct business impact analyses, identify critical business services, assess operational impacts and tolerances, and maintain resilience documentation, plans, and annual reviews.
- Oversee third-party and vendor lifecycle management, including onboarding, resilience assessments, contract reviews, SLA/KPI monitoring, inventory management, and remediation activities.
- Develop, review, and maintain operational resilience policies, procedures, regulatory submissions, and governance documentation, while monitoring regulatory changes and assessing their business impact.
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven experience in Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, or Third-Party/Vendor Risk Management within a regulated financial services or insurance environment.
- Strong knowledge of FCA, PRA, Lloyd's, outsourcing, vendor management, and operational resilience regulatory requirements.
- Excellent report writing, policy development, and presentation skills, with experience preparing materials for senior management, committees, and boards.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge, and collaborate across all levels while delivering pragmatic, solution-focused outcomes in a complex international environment.
