Job Description An exciting opportunity reporting into the Head of Financial Lines Claims, the successful candidate will need to be ready to take on key responsibilities within a world-class claims function. How you will create an impact • Focused on Financial Lines PI, D&O, and Commercial D&O, you will be responsible for a portfolio of high value, complex claims from coverage inquiry through legal liability assessment and quantum analysis to timely and accurate resolution. • Your goal will be timely, accurate, and customer-focused claim resolution, minimizing indemnity exposure and mitigating vendor and legal expense – you will actively promote and demonstrate the principles of ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ in claims handling. • You will communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders in your role as our technical claims expert and thought leader. • As a senior member of the team, you will act as a deputy for the Team Manager, and will provide training, and be a technical referral point for colleagues. • You will also contribute to continuous improvement in Claims by supporting Quality Assurance / Regional Audit processes, ensuring mitigation of indemnity and expense exposure while communicating developments and outcomes as necessary to all key internal and external stakeholders.
