We are currently partnering with a rapidly growing Insurer to recruit a Strategic Finance & Analytics Engineer. In this hybrid role, you will work across our finance and data functions and partner closely with the executive team to turn complex data into strategic insights, build scalable financial models, and support reliable financial planning and reporting through strong data infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain assumption-driven 5-year financial models.
- Develop unit economics frameworks to identify key growth drivers.
- Design scalable and maintainable data modeling frameworks.
- Ensure data integrity through structured layering and modular design.
- Automate financial models using integrations with accounting systems.
- Improve forecasting accuracy through connected data pipelines.
- Streamline month-end reporting processes with self-service tools.
- Champion the use of SQL, dbt, and Python across finance workflows.
- Build robust historical and transactional datasets for Metabase reporting.
- Partner with the CFO on investor decks, board reporting, and KPI storytelling.
