Edenbrook are partnering with a Big 4 Consultancy who are expanding their Insurance Accounting & Controls Advisory on a Senior Manager hire.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex technical accounting advisory engagements, including the implementation and application of new accounting standards and IFRS 17.
- Deliver insurance finance transformation projects, working collaboratively with actuarial, tax, risk and regulatory specialists.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, providing expert advice on insurance accounting, reporting and finance.
- Develop high-performing teams, contribute to market thought leadership and support the continued growth of the Insurance practice.
Skills & Experience
- Qualified accountant with significant experience in technical accounting advisory, accounting policy or insurance finance, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Strong technical accounting expertise, including IFRS 17 , alongside experience across General Insurance, Life & Pensions, insurance broking and/or the London Market.
- Experience in finance transformation, with an understanding of how technology, AI and automation can enhance finance and reporting processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and people development skills, with the ability to lead teams and build strong internal and external relationships.
Desirable: Experience delivering large-scale, multi-year finance transformation or implementation programmes.
