We're looking for a Delegated Underwriting Specialist to support the governance and oversight of Coverholders and binding authority agreements. The role involves reviewing applications, managing audits, producing management information (MI) reports, and liaising across internal teams to ensure compliance. Strong technical knowledge and stakeholder management skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of delegated underwriting governance and oversight frameworks.
- Monitor emerging regulatory changes and recommend updates to policies and procedures.
- Review and approve new Coverholder applications, Delegated Claims Administrator (DCA) arrangements, and existing binding authority agreements.
- Produce and maintain the annual audit schedule for Coverholders and DCAs, and manage relationships with audit panel providers.
- Review audit reports and ensure timely follow-up on findings and recommendations.
- Prepare and distribute reports and management information for internal meetings.
- Administer tasks within relevant underwriting and compliance systems.
- Support and mentor junior team members.
- Coordinate with Finance, Claims, and Compliance teams to ensure smooth operational processes.
- Assist with ongoing projects and complete ad hoc tasks as required.
