Overview
In this role you will lead premium accounting operations across cash applications, accounts receivable and payable, ensuring efficient, accurate processing at a global scale. You’ll manage large, diverse teams including offshore and MSP resources, pushing standardisation, automation and strong controls to improve service delivery. You will handle complex queries, escalate issues, and partner with brokers and stakeholders to resolve challenges. This position offers the opportunity to shape how premium accounting supports a global business and its clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead premium accounting operations across cash applications, AR and AP
- Oversee complex accounting queries, escalations and sensitive customer issues
- Manage and develop large teams, including offshore and managed service provider resources
- Drive process standardisation, automation, controls and operational efficiency
- Monitor service delivery, KPIs, management reporting and compliance
- Partner with brokers, trading partners and business stakeholders to resolve issues
Key requirements
- Accounting, Finance or related degree; CPA, ACA or MBA advantageous
- 7–10 years in accounting operations, including 3+ years in a management role
- Strong technical understanding of insurance brokerage and delegated authority accounting practices
- Experience managing large teams, shared services and global delivery models
- Knowledge of accounting and policy administration systems
- Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving and process improvement skills
