We are currently partnering with a Market Leading Strategy House, focussed on Insurance clients, to recruit an Engagement Manager (Strategy). The successful candidate will sit at the intersection of project leadership, client relationship management, and team development. You will be instrumental in managing the delivery of high-profile engagements, and supporting the rapid growth of the company.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Lead major strategy and transformation engagements across the insurance industry, ensuring high-quality delivery and strong client impact.
  • Build and manage long-term relationships with senior clients, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for further collaboration.
  • Own the commercial success of projects, including scope definition, delivery oversight, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor consulting teams, ensuring robust analysis, clear thinking, and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Partners on business development initiatives, including lead generation, proposal development, and pitch delivery.
  • Shape and contribute to the firm’s intellectual capital and thought leadership.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 4-6 years’ experience in strategy consulting (ideally with time at a top-tier or boutique firm) or a strategic leadership role within the Insurance sector.
  • Deep understanding of the insurance value chain, operating models, and market trends.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large, complex strategy engagements.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing client relationships and contributing to business development.
  • A degree from a leading university; MBA or similar postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
