A highly visible Group FP&A role supporting senior finance leadership in delivering high-quality financial analysis, management information, and performance insight across the business. The role covers both GAAP and IFRS 17 reporting and plays a key part in supporting strategic decision-making through clear financial narrative and challenge.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver GAAP and IFRS 17 management information and performance analysis against KPIs
- Prepare concise financial narratives for senior leadership and stakeholders
- Produce quarterly MI, board packs, and supporting financial analysis across the P&L and financial statements
- Provide insightful analysis to explain business performance and key drivers
- Support planning, forecasting, and consolidation of management plans
- Act as a finance partner across actuarial, capital, and wider finance teams
- Contribute to process improvement, enhanced analysis, and forecasting capability
- Support ad-hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives
Skills & Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience within insurance or reinsurance (Lloyd's experience desirable)
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills (advanced Excel)
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
