A bit about the job:

This role sits within the Finance Leadership team, reporting to the Head of Finance. You will lead both the corporate finance function across UK and overseas entities, as well as the finance operations team, ensuring compliance and driving process improvements. You will also act as a key link between the organisation and its wider group stakeholders, helping deliver change while maintaining business-as-usual.

Skills and experience required:

  • Qualified accountant with 5+ years in a senior finance role in the London market
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience with a proven track record in delivering finance change projects
  • Expert knowledge of accounting standards, including UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Skilled in financial reporting, data analysis and finance systems (SUN/Oracle GL desirable)
  • Experience of accounting for a Lloyd's Syndicate and associated corporate entities
