We are currently partnering with a Specialist Insurance Broker to recruit a hybrid Business Analyst/Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, process design, vendor selection through RFP, and project execution.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Manage stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives, scope, and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor, manage, and report on project progress, risks, and issues, providing transparent updates to senior management.
- Facilitate regular project governance meetings and ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Lead business requirements gathering through workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture business needs and objectives.
- Document comprehensive functional and non-functional requirements, aligned to underwriting strategy and operational goals.
- Produce detailed requirement artefacts, including user stories and use cases, to support system design and vendor evaluation.
- Design and document end-to-end underwriting process flows, incorporating best practices and process optimisation.
- Develop and manage the Request for Proposal (RFP), including requirements definition, evaluation criteria, and vendor engagement.
- Conduct vendor assessment, manage bid evaluations, and present recommendations and final selection proposals to leadership.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Strong project management and business analysis skills.
- Experience in conducting RFPs and vendor selection processes.
- Proficient in process design and optimisation techniques.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Familiarity with underwriting processes and MGA/UW platforms is highly desirable.
