We are partnering with a London-based insurance and financial services organisation for a qualified Syndicate Accountant to support regulatory and financial reporting activities across managed syndicates.
- Prepare and maintain syndicate accounting records and reconciliations.
- Produce quarterly and annual regulatory and financial reports.
- Assist with financial analysis, variance commentary, and management information.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Support system enhancements and implementation of process improvements.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior finance team members.
- Assist with ad hoc finance and project work as required.
Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Previous experience within insurance or Lloyd’s market accounting preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial and regulatory reporting.
- Experience preparing reconciliations and financial analysis.
- Strong Excel and financial systems knowledge.
