We are partnering with a London-based insurance and financial services organisation for a qualified Syndicate Accountant to support regulatory and financial reporting activities across managed syndicates.

  • Prepare and maintain syndicate accounting records and reconciliations.
  • Produce quarterly and annual regulatory and financial reports.
  • Assist with financial analysis, variance commentary, and management information.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Support system enhancements and implementation of process improvements.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior finance team members.
  • Assist with ad hoc finance and project work as required.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience within insurance or Lloyd’s market accounting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial and regulatory reporting.
  • Experience preparing reconciliations and financial analysis.
  • Strong Excel and financial systems knowledge.
