We are currently partnering with a market-leading Insurance company, to recruit a Senior Finance Transformation Manager. The successful candidate will be leading a finance transformation, driving the evolution of the accounting function and BPO model while acting as the key finance link to the wider programme.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Act as the Accounting point of contact, owning the business case and tracking progress against key benefits and milestones.
- Lead the change portfolio across all accounting areas, including AI-related initiatives, prioritising projects and resolving dependencies.
- Design and implement the target operating model for accounting, working closely with HR and external service partners.
- Drive change management across the accounting function, ensuring people, processes and ways of working are ready for new models.
- Collaborate with other business units to share best practice and bring innovative approaches into the UK programme.
- Establish effective governance for the offshore accounting model, overseeing service delivery against agreed SLAs and quality standards.
- Manage Accounting costs, monitoring budgets, volumes and productivity while taking corrective action where required.
- Apply expert knowledge of end-to-end finance and business processes to ensure effective solutions are delivered.
- Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring regular communication and meaningful input into key decisions.
- Identify and proactively manage risks, issues and barriers, ensuring appropriate actions are implemented.
- Provide senior leadership with clear insights, recommendations and updates on transformation progress and performance.
- Act as a key bridge between Finance, operational teams and external partners to drive successful delivery of the transformation agenda.
The ideal candidate:
- Qualified accountant with a solid background working on finance transformation programmes.
- Excellent understanding of finance processes and systems with ability to manage individuals directly and through others.
- Solid stakeholder management skills with the ability to built relationships at all levels.
