Group Senior FP&A Analyst

A highly visible Group FP&A role supporting senior finance leadership in delivering high-quality financial analysis, management information, and performance insight across the business. The role covers both GAAP and IFRS 17 reporting and plays a key part in supporting strategic decision-making through clear financial narrative and challenge.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver GAAP and IFRS 17 management information and performance analysis against KPIs
• Prepare concise financial narratives for senior leadership and stakeholders
• Produce quarterly MI, board packs, and supporting financial analysis across the P&L and financial statements
• Provide insightful analysis to explain business performance and key drivers
• Support planning, forecasting, and consolidation of management plans
• Act as a finance partner across actuarial, capital, and wider finance teams
• Contribute to process improvement, enhanced analysis, and forecasting capability
• Support ad-hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives

Skills & Experience

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience within insurance or reinsurance (Lloyd’s experience desirable)
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills (advanced Excel)
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
