Financial Reporting Accountant (6 month FTC)

We are currently recruiting for a Financial Reporting Accountant (6 months FTC) with a market leading insurer, who will support and run the monthly financial statement close. As part of this, the individual is expected to strengthen the process and controls for efficiency to support up-scaling of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Working closely with the Group Finance Director and the rest of the Finance operations team in month-end ledger closings for multiple legal entities in the group;
2. Assisting the Group FD in the production of the monthly group financial statements;
3. Helping monitor and control the group monthly and annual expense budgets, reporting on actual vs. budget expenses, expenses allocations across entities and products, etc;
4. Preparing weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts, and by currency as required by the CFO;
5. Efficient management of intercompany process;
6. Helping prepare quarterly and annual tax computations for and with the external advisors;
7. Assisting on the year-end audit process (along with rest of the team).

Key Note: The individual needs to be a qualified accountant with insurance experience.
