We are currently partnering with a rapidly growing global specialty insurer to recruit a Finance M&A Integration Associate. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the onboarding of newly acquired businesses into the function, contributing across the full finance integration lifecycle from post-signing planning through to transition into day to day operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Apply and enhance finance integration playbooks and structured processes.
- Support integration planning and track delivery against key milestones.
- Review and validate financial data received as part of acquisitions.
- Prepare and coordinate the booking of the opening day financial position.
- Perform reconciliations and support financial data mapping and system integration with finance, actuarial, and data teams.
- Assist with interim reporting for new acquisitions prior to full BAU integration.
- Reconcile integrated financial data to reported positions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Liaise with actuarial, data, and reporting stakeholders to resolve integration-related issues.
The ideal candidate should have but not limited to:
- ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified.
- Insurance background essential (ideally Reinsurance).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
