We are currently partnering with a market-leading Insurance company to recruit a Finance Change Lead. The successful candidate will be the primary owner and trusted lead for the administration, maintenance, and day-to-day operation of core Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning, ensuring stability and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead the design, testing, and implementation of Finance system enhancements to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage and deliver Finance system updates, enhancements, and maintenance across all Finance platforms.
- Gather, document, and manage change requests and requirements from the wider Finance function.
- Partner with Finance SMEs to support prioritisation and solution design.
- Support the delivery of Finance transformation projects alongside key stakeholders and third-party vendors.
- Own and maintain Workday configuration and administration, ensuring system control, integrity, and compliance.
- Assist in the design and delivery of Workday reports, business processes, and integrations.
- Lead the prioritisation, investigation, and resolution of system incidents and issues.
- Build strong working relationships and influence across all levels, fostering an open and collaborative culture.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience working with financial systems, ideally Workday Financials.
- Background within the Finance function in a Finance Change/Systems role.
- Experience with ERP platforms, including General Ledger and P2P systems.
- Part-qualified accountant (AAT, CIMA, ACCA) or qualified by experience, with exposure to system implementations.
