Associate Director - Insurance Corporate Governance
ESG Risk Manager opportunity working with a market leading specialty insurer operating across both Company and Lloyd’ Markets. This is a 12 month-FTC focusing on ESG and Operational Risk, where you’ll help shape the ESG risk approach through insightful analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor operational and ESG risks, including incidents, RCSAs and issue management, with clear mitigation and reporting
- Provide effective second‑line oversight and constructive challenge across ESG, sustainability and operational risk areas
- Lead climate risk dashboards, scenario analysis and regulatory ESG reporting, including gap analysis against emerging requirements
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, represent Risk in key forums and ensure alignment with group risk frameworks
- Manage and develop one direct report to deliver team objectives and support professional growth
About You
- Significant experience within financial services, ideally insurance
- Extensive experience in ESG, Sustainability or Climate Risk
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, processes and tools
