This is a 12 month-FTC focusing on ESG and Operational Risk, where you’ll help shape the ESG risk approach through insightful analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor operational and ESG risks, including incidents, RCSAs and issue management, with clear mitigation and reporting.
  • Provide effective second‑line oversight and constructive challenge across ESG, sustainability and operational risk areas.
  • Lead climate risk dashboards, scenario analysis and regulatory ESG reporting, including gap analysis against emerging requirements.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, represent Risk in key forums and ensure alignment with group risk frameworks.
  • Manage and develop one direct report to deliver team objectives and support professional growth.
About You
  • Significant experience within financial services, ideally insurance.
  • Extensive experience in ESG, Sustainability or Climate Risk.
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, processes and tools.
