Compliance Officer based in London, will support the Group Head of Compliance in ensuring the Group\’s UK licensed entities ongoing adherence to applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies and best practices. The role requires an analytical and detail-oriented professional with a solid understanding of insurance regulation, corporate governance and compliance monitoring processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Group Compliance Function in implementing the compliance framework across the Group\’s UK licensed entities
- Assist in the identification, assessment, and monitoring of regulatory compliance risks;
- Support the preparation and maintenance of compliance plans, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with PRA and FCA requirements
- Conduct compliance monitoring reviews, follow up on action plans and assist in preparing reports for the Board;
- Monitor regulatory developments in the UK that may impact the UK entities\’ operations;
- Contribute to regulatory filings, notifications, and responses to supervisory requests;
- Assist in achieving the targets of the internal training programme
- Support the assessment of third-party compliance risks, particularly in claims handling and outsourcing;
- Maintain up to date records of regulatory correspondence and internal compliance documentation and registers;
- Support the implementation of sanctions screening and data protection compliance across the Group.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years\’ experience in a broad compliance role within the insurance sector;
- Knowledge of the UK regulatory environment, data protection and sanctions frameworks;
- Familiarity with EU regulatory regimes is a strong advantage;
- Legacy insurance experience is a strong advantage.
