We are currently partnering with a leading insurer in the London Market who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Claims Adjuster to join their Financial Lines team on a 12 month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave, with a specific focus on Transactional Liability / M&A Claims.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established claims professional with strong technical knowledge of Warranty & Indemnity, Tax Liability, Contingent Risk or wider transactional risk products, looking to join a highly regarded business in a visible and varied role.
- Managing a portfolio of complex Transactional Liability / M&A claims from first notification through to resolution.
- Handling claims across products including W&I, Tax, Contingent Risk and related transactional lines.
- Liaising with brokers, insureds, legal counsel and internal underwriting teams.
- Reviewing policy wordings and advising on coverage positions.
- Driving efficient claims strategy, reserving and settlement negotiations.
- Supporting underwriting teams with claims trends, wording feedback and market insight.
- Maintaining strong broker and client relationships throughout the claims lifecycle.
Proven claims handling experience within Transactional Liability, M&A, Financial Lines or Specialty Claims.
Strong understanding of Warranty & Indemnity insurance and associated deal-related risks.
Experience managing complex, high-value or multi-jurisdictional claims.
Legal background or qualifications advantageous but not essential.
