Statement of responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all Excel bordereaux, risk, premium and claims are received from the cover holders and claims administrators within contractual service levels.
- Work with cover holders and claims administrators to ensure that all bordereaux are complete and accurate, and to resolve data quality issues that may arise.
- Completely and accurately load all bordereaux received into the binder management system within required timescales.
- Resolve any errors that may occur as bordereaux are loaded into the binder management system.
- Escalate to the Operations Technician, Third Party Administrator Manager or Head of Operations any issues which cannot be resolved directly with the cover holders or third-party administrators.
- Ensure that risk written and premium bordereaux are reconciled.
- Ensure that cash received is reconciled to the premium bordereaux.
Key Duties:
- Pro-active management of cover holders and third-party administrators to ensure that bordereaux are received within agreed service levels.
- Verification of bordereaux contents to ensure that they are complete and accurate.
- Escalate any potential breaches in binder terms.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of documented and measurable processes relating to binder management activities.
