We are currently partnering with a rapidly-growing Insurance company to recruit a BPA Technical Data Analyst. The successful candidate will support the Head of BPA Operations with the successful transition of Bulk Purchase Annuity business.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyse defined benefit pension datasets and benefit specifications to assess data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
- Review data from both pricing and administration perspectives to ensure quality and consistency.
- Reconcile and validate updated or cleansed datasets received from pension scheme administrators.
- Ensure future policyholders receive the correct benefit entitlements through accurate data analysis.
- Create and maintain calculation spreadsheets for revaluation, pension increases, and pension payroll processes.
- Incorporate GMP equalisation requirements into reconciliations and system set-up activities.
- Analyse, reconcile, and document data changes while maintaining a complete audit trail throughout onboarding.
- Test and reconcile parallel payroll runs, pension increase calculations, and benefit calculation automation processes.
- Monitor data quality, identify errors, and implement corrective actions to minimise repeat issues.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards while supporting knowledge sharing and ad hoc team activities.
