Edenbridge Accident Repair Centre Ltd is a busy and well-established accident repair centre, committed to delivering high-quality vehicle repairs and exceptional customer service.

We are looking for an experienced, organised and proactive Parts Advisor to join our busy team. This is a key role within the business, working closely with our estimators, technicians, suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the correct parts are sourced and available at the right time, helping us keep vehicles moving efficiently through the repair process.

The Role

As Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for managing the complete parts process, from identification and ordering through to delivery, checking and distribution to the workshop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify vehicle parts accurately using manufacturer, supplier and parts identification systems
  • Source and order parts efficiently, ensuring the correct specification and quality
  • Obtain competitive pricing and maintain good relationships with parts suppliers
  • Receive, check and organise incoming deliveries
  • Ensure parts are correctly allocated to the relevant repair jobs
  • Monitor outstanding orders and chase suppliers where necessary
  • Liaise closely with estimators and technicians to ensure parts are available when required
  • Identify and resolve parts discrepancies, shortages and incorrect deliveries
  • Maintain accurate records of parts, orders and returns
  • Manage stock levels and minimise unnecessary delays to repairs
  • Process and coordinate parts returns and credits
  • Help maintain a clean, organised and efficient parts area
  • Work as part of the wider bodyshop team to ensure vehicles are repaired and delivered on time
  • Maintain a professional and positive relationship with colleagues, suppliers and customers

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, organised and commercially aware, with the ability to work under pressure in a busy accident repair environment.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Parts Advisor, preferably within an accident repair centre, bodyshop, dealership or automotive environment
  • Good knowledge of vehicle parts and repair processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Good IT skills and confidence using parts and manufacturer systems
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong supplier relationships
  • The ability to prioritise workload and work effectively to deadlines
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
  • The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
  • A genuine commitment to delivering a high standard of service

Experience within an accident repair/bodyshop environment would be highly advantageous.
