At Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice, we are looking for dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our caring and supportive clinical team, helping to deliver high-quality care to adults with life‑limiting conditions.
About the Role
Working as part of a skilled multi‑disciplinary team and under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, on our adult inpatient unit you will:
- Provide high‑quality, compassionate, and person‑centred care
- Support patients with complex health needs in a safe, comfortable, and homely environment
- Build meaningful relationships with patients and families, offering empathy and reassurance
- Assist with a range of clinical and supportive tasks to enhance patient wellbeing and experience

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking individuals who:
- Have experience working in a healthcare or care setting
- Hold an NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Are kind, compassionate, and respectful in their approach
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Are motivated to learn and develop new skills, including specialist clinical competencies
Experience in palliative or complex care is desirable but not essential.
