As a warehouse operative, you will work within our busy warehouse, working both alone and as part of a team, reporting directly to the warehouse manager. Your duties include ensuring all deliveries are received and dispatched in a timely and efficient manner and assisting with the loading and unloading of tyres using manual handling techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Move and store tyres in the correct warehouse area.
  • Ensure all products are free from damage and report any discrepancies.
  • Clean and maintain warehouse equipment to meet set standards.
  • Consistently meet good standards of health and safety and adhere to company warehouse standards and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Maintain personal and professional development, participate in appropriate training activities, and undertake other duties, training, or hours of work as reasonably required.
  • Carry out responsibilities with due regard to the company's operating policies, the Staff Handbook and Health and Safety Manual.
  • Show professional courtesy and respect for all management, employees, and suppliers.
  • Support senior management with additional activities and support where required.
  • Good organisational skills, reliable, self‑motivated, flexible, and willing to take on a variety of tasks.
  • Team player with a flexible attitude towards work and hours.
  • Previous experience of at least one year is an advantage.
  • Moderate level of fitness to comfortably carry out tasks.

Working Hours and Employment:

Full Time – Permanent
Weekdays: 05:00–09:00 start time (variable)
Saturdays: 06:00–13:00 (rota basis)
