Eden Tyres & Servicing is looking for an experienced Service Technician to work across our branches in the West Midlands. As a Relief Service Technician, you’ll support our teams by covering absences and providing additional help during busy periods, helping us maintain the high standards of service our customers expect across every location.

Salary: £32,000 – £34,000

Location: West Midlands

Job Type: Full-time

This role would suit a skilled, adaptable Service Technician who enjoys variety in their working day, is comfortable travelling between branches, and is confident working with different teams and customers. All travel expenses during working hours will be covered. A company vehicle will be provided following the successful completion of your probation period.

All of our branches are approved Castrol Service Centres, ensuring consistent processes, quality standards, and levels of service across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to Eden Tyres & Servicing branches across the region, as directed by the Operations Manager, to provide support where needed.
  • Carry out vehicle servicing to a consistently high standard.
  • Diagnose vehicle faults accurately and carry out repairs or parts replacements efficiently.
  • Work efficiently to meet workshop targets and agreed deadlines.
  • Liaise with the Centre Manager to ensure customers are kept informed throughout their visit.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Full driving licence

Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
Saturday: 8:30 am – 1:00 pm (one Saturday off per month)
No Sunday or Bank Holiday work
