We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Assistant to support the Customer Service Manager with day-to-day operational and customer service tasks. This role will work closely alongside the manager, providing support, and will play a key role in ensuring customers receive a consistently high standard of service across multiple channels. The role involves managing overflow customer interactions, monitoring feedback channels, and assisting with administrative and customer satisfaction tasks, particularly during busy periods.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first-line agent for the company chatbot, responding to customer queries and transferring conversations when required.
- Assist with overflow calls coming from our branches.
- Support customer service email management as required.
- Monitor and respond to Google and Trustpilot reviews, escalating negative feedback to the Customer Service Manager.
- Carry out customer satisfaction follow-ups, including checking completed orders and identifying missed opportunities.
- Identify recurring issues or trends and flag these for the Customer Service Manager.
- Assist with duplicate data merging and maintaining accurate customer records.
- Support uniform ordering for the branches and related administrative tasks.
- Provide overflow support with daily tasks when required.
Requirements
- Strong customer service background with a passion for delivering high-quality service.
- Motor trade experience or a strong interest in the industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
