About the role

As an Induction Officer, you'll play a vital role in helping learners take the first steps towards achieving their career goals. You'll be the welcoming face of Eden Training Solutions, guiding individuals through their apprenticeship journey from enrolment through to a successful handover to their Skills Coach.

This is a highly rewarding role where you'll build strong relationships, provide expert guidance, and make a genuine impact on learners' development and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the required number of learners through their online enrolment and inductionvisit




• Completion of learners application and enrolment process, checking funding eligibility including skills scan




• Communication of OTJ, Qualification overview (KSB’s), delivery model with the learner




• Review of initial assessment results with the learner including IAG re: ALN




• Overview of Functional Skills delivery and duration (inc exemptions)




• Undertake initial learning visit, by delivering an online First Day of learning Session




• Actively promote, support, encourage the learner to continually update OTJ and using BUD




• Liaison with Skills Coachmaintaining communication with Skills Coach to handover the newly enrolled learner




• Provide effective IAG service to learners




• Manage own time effectively to progress learners including completion of paperwork and updating of systems to minimum standards




• Promote Eden Training Solutions at every opportunity with learners, as well as all other internal and external parties




• Keep up to date with new products and services introduced by Eden to ensure knowledge is current and relevant




• Maintain weekly reports to update completion of appointments, booked and potential




• Attend internal and external meetings as required

About you

Qualifications/Skills
Mandatory level qualifications:

• A*-C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths




• Children’s Care Learning & Development (Level 3), Childcare & Education (Level 3), Early Years Care & Education (Level 3) or equivalent/higher qualification




• Foundation/honours degree in Early Childhood Studies




• Teacher, training qualifications or equivalent (e.g.: PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, Cert-Ed)

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Experience of groupteaching, learning and assessment




• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload




• Ability to adapt to unforeseen situations and plan work to benefit organisational needs




• Ability to motivate and inspire individuals to learn and achieve through face to face and remote media interactions




• Experience of Ofsted Inspection




• Well-developed interpersonal skills




• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written




• Honesty and reliability




• Ability to work to strict deadlines




• Supervisory experience
