As a Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and modernising scalable data solutions that enable better decision-making across the organisation. The Role

You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining robust data platforms, pipelines, and integration solutions that support reporting, analytics, and operational systems across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions and platforms.
  • Developing and optimising ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Working across multiple data sources to ensure data quality, integrity, and performance.
  • Supporting SQL Server environments, including SSIS, SSRS, and related technologies.
  • Developing solutions using Oracle PL/SQL, stored procedures, and packages.
  • Collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to understand and deliver data requirements.
  • Troubleshooting data issues and driving continuous improvement across the data estate.
  • Supporting best practice around documentation, security, and data governance.

About You

We're looking for a technically strong Data Engineer who enjoys solving complex data challenges and delivering high-quality solutions.

You’ll ideally have experience with:

  • SQL Server
  • SSIS
  • SSRS
  • T-SQL
  • Oracle PL/SQL
  • ETL design and development
  • Data integration and pipeline development
  • Data governance and quality management
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Modern cloud-based data platforms

You’ll also be:

  • Analytical and solution-focused
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders across the business
  • Organised and delivery-focused
  • Passionate about building scalable, reliable data solutions
