As the Data Transformation Manager, you will be responsible for leading the transformation of the data landscape through the implementation of the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), ensuring modern, scalable data solutions are in place and deliver the expected benefits to business.

This role is critical in aligning the data transformation strategy with enterprise objectives under the CIO/CDO’s vision.

Must have experience of working in the insurance sector!

Key Accountabilities

  • Define and own the organisation’s data transformation roadmap (including data platforms, analytics, AI enablement, and operating model).
  • Drive large-scale data transformation initiatives across the enterprise, focusing on delivering new data solutions to the business, enhancing capabilities on data platforms, and enabling improved data management and analytics solutions.
  • Establish measurement frameworks for analytics adoption and outcomes and drive continuous improvement and optimisation of data processes.
  • Ensure smooth adoption of the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) across business units through effective change‑management strategies.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of data transformation projects from initiation to delivery.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong experience in managing data transformation and large-scale data projects.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and enterprise data architecture.
  • Good understanding of Data Management and compliance frameworks and data architecture principle.
  • Experience in data governance, quality frameworks, and change management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and project leadership skills.
  • Experience of Insurance domain and the overall data value chain.
