This is a new senior leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and operating enterprise-wide data strategy, organisation, processes, governance and technologies for both its client facing business and internal G&A functions. Critical to the role is establishing the data strategy in the context of both aggressive transformation and growth activities, as well as the overall rapidly evolving AI and technology environment. This interim role may transition to become the permanent head of data and analytics, responsible for the data organisation’s ongoing management and continued development.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- Significant senior leadership experience in data, analytics, or data platform roles within complex, global organisations.
- Strong conceptual and practical understanding of AI principles, concepts, and technologies.
- Proven ownership of enterprise data strategy, data governance, and analytics delivery.
- Strong experience with modern data lake, warehouse and analytics architectures, including vendor‑delivered platforms.
- Demonstrated success leading data engineering and BI/analytics teams at scale.
- Experience designing and running data governance and data quality frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders as well as lead the broader organisation through deliberate change management.
- Experience operating within shared service or global delivery models.
DESIRABLE
- Exposure to finance and commercial data domains.
- Experience working with Microsoft data platforms (e.g. Fabric, Azure, Power BI) or similar enterprise ecosystems.
- Familiarity with managing data platforms built or supported by third‑party system integrators.
