HR Advisor in Turriff

Eden Scott is delighted to be supporting an established business in the search for an experience HR Advisor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Purpose

To give operational support and advice regarding human resource best practice, policy development and procedural interpretation to all management teams and employees across the Group, as a member of the HR team.

Duties

• Providing day to day HR support, as one of the points of contact for all HR queries.
• Supporting the Management Team with the development and implementation of HR KPIs on site.
• Working with Site Management to create, implement and monitor plans to drive productivity.
• Working closely with HR Team across the business to monitor, review and update all policies and procedures and documentation in line with company standards, current legislation, and best practice on site.
• Developing and supporting Site Management on HR processes and policies and procedures e.g., Absence Management on site.
• Contribute to and assist with the implementation of HR management development materials such as updates, drop-in sessions and development programmes.
• Supporting Employee Relations issues in conjunction with Management in line with company policies and procedures.
• Understanding the boundaries/policies and procedures and escape any risks to Head of HR.
• Providing an advisory service to all employees, ensuring they are fully aware of their rights and entitlements.
• Assisting the Head of HR with the co-ordination of all HR projects to ensure smooth implementation
• Ensuring HR matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with legal requirements and company policy.

Regular UK travel as and when required

Requirements

• Previous experience of working in a HR role within a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of UK employment law and experience managing ER cases.
• Human Resources Qualification and/or CIPD membership
