An established independent financial planning firm in East Lothian is seeking an experienced paraplanner to join its growing team and strengthen its technical backbone. Key responsibilities- Conducting in-depth technical research across pensions, investments, personal taxation, and protection
- Producing and reviewing complex suitability reports and supporting advisory documentation
- Preparing advisers for meetings, including technical input and cashflow modelling support
- Acting as a technical quality filter for outsourced paraplanning work
- Liaising with platforms, providers, and specialist partners to obtain information and resolve queries
- Maintaining exemplary client records and file audit standards
- Helping refine internal templates, workflows, and technical processes over time

Experience & Knowledge- Essential
- Proven experience in a technical paraplanning position

- Experience with cashflow modelling software
