With continued ambitious growth plans for the coming years, a regional wealth manager is looking to add to their management team by appointing an Advisory Development Manager to lead and develop their central Scotland hub. Due to additional hires in the team, trainee advisers coming through the ranks, and existing highly experienced IFAs, they need someone to oversee, grow, and manage their team of currently over approximately 20. This is a truly exciting time to be joining them as they lead the way with their service offering and market strategy. They are looking for ambitious, client-focused, dynamic, and driven professionals to shape their future plans for the coming years.
The role will entail coaching both on a 1:1 basis and in groups to assess best practice, carrying out role plays to reinforce skills and teachings, observing performance to recognise areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to upskill the team. Training of the advisers will include observing their performance versus any sales encounters and providing feedback to regional management regarding any obstacles faced. In addition, keeping up with market trends, industry changes, and regulation will be essential, with a big focus on compliance and adviser competency.
The successful candidate will have a genuine desire to make a difference, be driven, motivated, and excited to join during this stage in their growth. Previous experience giving financial advice, being level 4 qualified, and having a background in a similar role with evidence of providing results is required.
In return, they are offering a highly competitive package, benefits, along with the chance to really make a difference and see the impact you make on a day-to-day basis.
