Job Description
Technical Financial Services Administrator
I am currently working with a professional Financial Services company based in Edinburgh, who due to heavy work volumes are looking to recruit within their support team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a close-knit team as an IFA Administrator, providing shared support to a group of Financial Advisers within the business.
Daily tasks shall include but are not limited to:
- Processing of pensions and investment applications
- Acting as a point of contact to new and existing clients, always ensuring a professional and efficient service.
- Contacting product providers to chase up information, sending out LOA's and updating the in-house database.
- Preparing pre-sale client packs, valuations and suitability reviews.
- Managing own diary and workload as well as others
The ideal candidate shall have existing experience providing administrative support to a financial adviser within a wealth management or financial planning firm however my client would consider someone from a pensions background looking to break into the advisory side of things.
In addition, you should have excellent communication and organisation skills, experience submitting new business applications and navigating various platforms, where exposure to IO would be advantageous but is not essential.
