We are supporting a leading international energy services organisation with the appointment of a QHSE Advisor to join its Aberdeen-based operations team. This is a varied and influential role supporting quality, health, safety, and environmental activities across service, maintenance, refurbishment and aftermarket operations. Working closely with management, workshop, engineering and operational teams, you'll play a key role in maintaining compliance, driving continuous improvement and promoting a strong QHSE culture throughout the business.

The position offers the opportunity to work within a global organisation supporting critical equipment and services across the energy sector, where quality, safety and operational excellence remain at the forefront of delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and maintaining integrated QHSES management systems
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures, customer requirements and industry standards
  • Assisting with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and API Q2 compliance activities
  • Planning and conducting internal audits and supporting external audits
  • Managing non-conformances, investigations and corrective actions
  • Developing and maintaining quality documentation, inspection plans and procedures
  • Supporting risk assessments, incident investigations and behavioural safety initiatives
  • Delivering QHSES training, inductions and awareness sessions
  • Monitoring environmental performance and promoting sustainability initiatives
  • Supporting site security requirements and business resilience activities

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience in a QHSES Advisor, Quality Advisor, HSEQ Advisor or similar role
  • Energy industry experience, particularly within service, engineering or maintenance environments
  • Lead Auditor qualification and management systems auditing experience
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
  • Experience managing audits, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies such as 5 Why, 8D or TapRooT
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • SAP or ERP system experience would be advantageous
